Our History
The owners of Logicore Networks have been in the online industry since the late 80's, before the Internet was even a public word. The business started in Ottawa, Ontario, the high tech center of Canada at the time.The company first started as LiveWire Online which became InaSec Inc.
As we became more Internet based, we transitioned to NewForce Communications , a full-service ISP, selling dial-up Internet, dedicated access, web & email hosting and colocating. In 1999, we sold our dial-up users to a national ISP that wanted to go public. It was a great time to get out of the dial-up business, as many of the large phone and cable companies were offering packages that were competing with the independent ISPs.
We started Logicore Networks as a development company, and focused on providing Internet related services on a smaller scale and specializing in custom solutions like live video streaming for corporate product launches and events, video encoding and streaming and custom network solutions. We use our deep knowledge and experience in the online world to develop services and products that our customers need.
About Us
Logicore Networks has been providing online and ISP related services since the late 1980's, (check out our history) our roots forged in the Bulletin Board System (BBS) days. We have enjoyed showing our customers new ways to use the Internet, from the early days of 14.4 dial-up modems and basic personal websites to today's high-speed environment and dynamic content-driven websites
Logicore has focused on customers who want to go beyond the basic "one size fits most" web companies who tease you with lots of features, storage and applications at a low price but don't support any of them. We've developed sites for customers that were hosted on these bargain-rate providers and experienced their tech support first hand!
For customers with unique requirements, we listen to your needs, come up with a plan and work with you to design, build, host and maintain the technology for your business.
We host our own sites on the same environment we host our long-term customers, so we recognize and fully appreciate the need for dependable services.
